Research data management

Enterprise Research Administration (ERA) system

  • Request account help with the ERA system.

  • Request an audit of existing software and code.

ASU supercomputers account request

  • Access to ASU supercomputers is limited to ASU affiliates. Please sign in to your ASU account in order to request access.

ASU AI Research Acceleration (AIR) Platform request

  • Request computational services for the AIR Platform.
  • Services can include virtual machines, server colocation and data storage.
  • The AIR Platform request form is accessible to ASU faculty, staff and affiliates. If you are not an affiliate, see the entry under “Courtesy affiliates, students and external customers.”

Knowledge Enterprise (KE) – departmental service requests

RTO supports multiple ASU Knowledge Enterprise departments with technology solutions that meet researchers’ needs and advance the university’s research mission.

If you are a Knowledge Enterprise employee and you know exactly what you need, please submit a help request by choosing one of the options below or browse our catalog on the ASU Service Now portal.

Research technology support

  • Request deskside support for workstations and AV equipment. 
  • Purchase new equipment like laptops, desktops or printers. 
  • Request software such as Microsoft Office. 
  • Initiate a Vendor IT Security Assessment for new software and technology. 
  • Request general IT support.

Knowledge Enterprise Web Services

  • Request a website consultation.
  • Receive training on an existing KE website.
  • Develop a web application for a KE department or initiative.

Knowledge Enterprise SharePoint/Teams

  • Foster collaboration, improve information management and ensure efficient operations with SharePoint solutions.

Knowledge Enterprise Automations

  • Improve team processes and productivity for your team with expert business process management and automation.

Knowledge Enterprise Data Warehouse

  • Access the KE Data Warehouse, which combines ASU data (financial, human resources, academic systems) with internal and external research administrative data. 
  • Request a report from the KE Analytics team.

Courtesy affiliates, students and external customers

If you don’t have an ASU employee account, you won’t be able to access our research service catalog and ticketing system directly. This may include you if you are:

  • A student who is not employed by ASU 
  • A non-ASU individual with a “courtesy affiliate” account
  • An external partner or customer

Please use one of the forms below to request help, and your query will be routed to the appropriate service team. Individuals who do have direct access to our research service catalog are encouraged to submit requests directly in our catalog for faster service.

Request access to ASU supercomputers

  • Access to ASU supercomputers is limited to ASU affiliates
  • ASU students: Your instructors can request access on your behalf. For more information, use the form linked below.
  • Courtesy affiliates and external partners: An ASU research collaborator can request access on your behalf. For more information, use the form linked below.

Help with AI Research Acceleration (AIR) Platform and other ASU-affiliate resources

  • Certain services and request forms are only accessible to ASU affiliates. 
  • If you need help requesting access to an AIR Platform consultation or other services, please use our general help request form.
  • Describe what you need, and an RTO affiliate will reach out to you to assist.

Enterprise Research Administration (ERA) account support

  • Request assistance with accessing your ERA account or report login issues.

General research IT help request

  • For individuals that do not have access to the RTO service catalog, please use this form for all other requests.
