  • KEEP digital repository

KEEP, managed by the ASU Library, is the home for preserving the scholarship of ASU faculty, staff and students. Find and submit open-access articles, collaborative research projects, musical performances, theses and dissertations, and more.

    Visit KEEP

  • ORCID

ORCID (Open Researcher Contributor ID) is an independent non-profit organization that provides a free, unique, persistent identifier for researchers. An ORCHID iD distinguishes you from other researchers and provides a way to link your research outputs and activities to you. ORCID is integrated into many systems used by publishers, funders, institutions and other research-related services. If you already have an ORCID iD, we recommend you affiliate your account with ASU. This will allow you to access your ORCID profile using ASU’s single sign-on.

Register or access your ORCID iD

  • Overleaf Professional

Overleaf Professional makes the process of writing, editing and producing your research papers and project reports easier for you and your collaborators. ASU provides Overleaf Professional for all students, faculty and staff. Its features include real-time track changes, unlimited collaborators and full document history. To access your Overleaf Professional upgrade through ASU, you will need to link your Overleaf account to your ASU Single Sign-On identity.

  • Project and archive storage

RTO provides project and archive storage through the ASU Research Computing Core Facility. Research Computing can allocate project storage on our enterprise-grade network attached storage, which is more robust than consumer storage to withstand constant use. Our archive storage, Canyon, is an ASU-owned modern tape storage service designed for archive data and backups. It is accessible through Globus.

  • REDCap

Project REDCap is a secure web application to support online and offline data capture and management for research studies and operations. ASU offers an Enterprise REDCap instance available to all ASU researchers and their collaborators from other institutions and companies. ASU personnel can log in with ASU credentials. ASU project leaders will need to request accounts for non-ASU personnel to get access to their projects. ASU also offers a HIPAA-compliant REDCap instance.

  • Registry of Research Data Repositories

The Registry of Research Data Repositories (Re3data) is a global registry of research data repositories from different academic disciplines. It includes repositories that enable permanent dataset storage and access. If you need datasets for a new project, this tool can help find the repositories likely to contain them. Rre3data promotes a culture of sharing, increased access and better visibility of research data.

  • Research cybersecurity and compliance consulting

RTO cybersecurity team members can assist with interpretation of U.S. and international data and security compliance laws, including programs such as NIST 800-171 and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). When designing systems and processes that have security requirements, the team can also translate those requirements into controls or determine if a specific control meets a requirement.

  • Research Data Selector Tool

The Research Data Selector Tool helps you find the most appropriate option to collect, manage, analyze and share your research data in a secure, resilient manner. Answer questions about your needs to filter for the right services, or click on different service options to review details. While some options may seem acceptable, RTO requires its approval for additional management controls.
